Accidents

Scripture Passage: 2 Corinthians 11:24-26

Paul was travelling in the countries around the Mediterranean Sea preaching the Gospel.

God allowed many bad things to happen to him. We do not know why God allows accidents. He has promised to protect us and we often experience that protection. But sometimes we suffer and then we just have to trust Him to work things for good. We have the comfort of knowing that He is with us even in our troubles.

Questions:
1. What was Paul doing when these bad things happened to him?
He was preaching the Gospel.
2. What does God do when we are in trouble?
He comforts us with His presence.
3. What can we do for others who are in trouble?
We can comfort them because of our experience.

Memory verse: 2 Corinthians 1:4
He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (NLT)
