Carpenter
Scripture
Passage: Mark
6:1-3
Joseph was a carpenter. The people thought Jesus was
Joseph's son. As the oldest son in the family, Jesus
was expected to take over His father's business. So Jesus
learned to be a carpenter. But God called Him to go and
tell people about God's Kingdom. He left the carpenter
shop and travelled around teaching and healing people. Building
God's Kingdom is more important than building houses.

Memory verse: Hebrews
3:4
For every house has a builder, but God is the one who made everything. (NLT)
