Scripture Passage: Revelation
10:9-10a
In the Old Testament,
the Psalmist says how he loves to meditate on God's words
and that God's words are sweeter than honey to his mouth.
In Revelation, when the angel told John to grasp and fully
digest the words of the scroll it was like bad news in his
stomach. But God's eternal purposes will be the good news -
the gospel, which is sweeter than honey.

To
eat it, meaning to meditate on it.

taste like to John?
It
was sweeter than honey.
