Helmet
Scripture Passage: Ephesians
6:14-17
Guns had not yet been invented in New Testament times. A
soldier used a sword, spear and arrows. His sword was
hung from his belt. He wore a metal helmet on his head
and a breastplate to cover his chest. He was careful
to wear strong sandals so his feet would not slip. He
carried his shield on his left arm to deflect arrows and spears.
It is through prayer that we put on God's armour. Are we well-equipped
soldiers in God's army?
