Honour Your Father and Mother

Scripture Passage: Ephesians 6:1-3

It is very important to honour your father and your mother. This applies not only to children but also throughout our adult lives.  Remember that your parents care for you and only want what is best for you. Because they are older than you, they have more experience of life and so can advise you well. Good children are a great joy to their parents and are promised a long life.

Questions:
1. Why should we obey our parents?
Because this is right in the sight of God.
2. What is the first commandment with a promise?
Honour your father and mother.
3. What happens if we honour our parents?
It may go well with us and we enjoy long life on the earth.
