Lunch

Scripture Passage: John 6:9-11

Let us consider the boy who was willing to share his lunch with Jesus. It was not a very big lunch but he gave it to the Lord. He would have known that he would get very hungry without his lunch. Because he was generous, not only did he get fed, but so did a great crowd of people. Perhaps we think what we have is too small to be important but if we give it to God, He can bless many people with it. Even a child can be used by Jesus to bless people.

Memory verse: Luke 6:38
If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving--large or small—it will be used to measure what is given back to you. (NLT)
