Platform
Scripture: Luke
5:1-3
Jesus was trying to teach the people about the kingdom
of God. They crowded around Him. They were pushing
and shoving in order to get close to Him. Jesus needed
a platform to speak from. He asked Peter if He could
use Peter's boat for a platform. Peter was quite willing
for Him to use it. Are we willing to let our things
be used when He needs them for reaching people with the gospel?
Sometimes we need to let our homes be used for Bible studies
or literacy classes.
Questions:
1. What were the people doing?
Crowding around Jesus and listening
to Him teaching the word of God.
2. Why did Jesus use Peter's
boat?
So that all the people could hear Him.
3. How can we use our
property to spread the Gospel?
We can be generous and lend
our property if it could be used to spread the Gospel.
