Potter
Scripture Passage: Romans
9:21
We should never envy anyone who is better looking or more
talented than we are. God made us as we are and he
has a work for us to do that no-one else can do. We
shouldn't be envious of those who seem to be more important
than we are. God is the potter and we are the clay
and he can make us as He wants us to be. It is better to
accept what we are and do the best we can for Him and then
He will be pleased with us.
Questions:
1. Why doesn't everyone have a talent for music?
Because God
has given different talents to each person.
2. Why did He make
us different?
Because He has different jobs for each of us.
3. How can we
please God?
We can please Him by doing our best wherever we
work.
Memory verse: Romans
9:20
Who are you, a mere human being, to criticize God? Should the thing that was created say to the one who made it, "Why have you made me like this?" (NLT)
