Shadow

Scripture Passage: James 1:16-19

God never changes. He is not like shifting shadows. When He makes a promise, He always keeps it. If we do not receive all that He has promised, we should look to see if we have met the conditions for the promise. James 1:12 says that those who persevere under trial and stand the test will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. Galatians 3:29 says that if we belong to Christ, we will receive what God has promised.

Questions:
1. What is God like?
God does not change.
2. What does God always keep?
His promises.
3. What does God want us to be like?
God wants us to persevere, not to be like changing shadows.
