Snake
Scripture Passage: Acts
28:1-6
When Paul had a snake fasten its fangs on his hand, the
people of Malta thought he would surely die. But when
no harm came to him, they said he must be a god. They
did not realize that Paul loved the Lord and so God was taking
care of him. Paul had a healing ministry on the island of
Malta and the people were very grateful.
Questions:
1. What happened to Paul when he was building the
fire?
A viper fastened itself on His hand.
2. Seeing that Paul was
bitten by the snake, what did the islanders conclude?
When
the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said
to each other "This man must be a murderer; for though
he escaped from the sea, justice has not allowed him to live".
3.
How did God protect Paul?
The
snake's bite did not make him ill at all.
