The Great Commission

Passage: Matthew
28:16-20
Jesus appeared to His disciples many times to convince
them that He had indeed risen. He then gave them the
special task of proclaiming the good news. We, who
have believed in the risen Lord, have been commissioned to
continue this task. Are we willing to be obedient to this
great commission?
Questions:
1. What did Jesus say has been given to Him?
All authority
in Heaven and on earth.
2. What did Jesus command His disciples
to do?
"Go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you."
3. What did Jesus promise His disciples?
That He would be with
them always, to the very end of the age.
